A product catalog view over all created catalogs would be helpfull to organize e.g. a standard catalog for all customer segments and easy add new products to all custom catalogs without opening all product catalogs each time
I'm not sure what role this "standard" catalog would play in your scenario. A template that applied to most customers, but with minor changes? I can propose the following:
Create the segment that you configure catalog with this idea in mind. Before the customer is selected on the platform, you see the default catalog, so tailoring that one would be best for your purposes.
When you need to create a new catalog that's very similar, copy it.
When you want to update an existing catalog to match it, have it opened side by side on your screen.
We support great level of customization per segment. It makes allowing changes across all segments tricky for things like product category, location on the grid, visible offers and tags. I hope some of my suggestions help, and thank you for yours too. We will try to accommodate if we see opportunity.
